Greenwood Rescue Cats For Adoption
Our Greenwood Rescue Cats For Adoption include a number of cats who would be most suited to being either the only cat in the house or at least the first cat in the house. Leigh is typical of this kind of cat, who prefers her own company to the company of other cats. Typically these cats do not thrive in rescue, unlike their more gregarious counterparts. Leigh was owner surrendered to Greenville County Animal Care Services just before Christmas in 2010. Cats like Leigh do not show themselves off to best effect, as they are the quieter cats, so find it hard to get adopters attention when they come to look at the cats.
We feel that Leigh is most suited to a quiet adult only home, where she can rule the roost as the only cat in the home. She has a gentle nature, and likes being stroked but finds a rescue environment with so many other cats around quite stressful.
Not all our Greenwood rescue cats available for adoption have such specific needs as Leigh. But we currently have a number of adults cats who are suited to single cat households. Leigh’s former owners gave up on her but we haven’t.
Leigh is currently a resident at Furby’s Half Way House in Hodges, Greenwood County. She has been spayed and vet checked, and is hoping to interview potential adopters over the next few weeks.
Furby’s Half Way House tries very hard to find homes for the Greenwood rescue cats it has for adoption that suit the personalities of the individual cats. For that reason Elisa who runs the rescue has to find out a bit more about your circumstances. So a Greenwood cat adoption application form must be completed as part of the adoption application process. An adoption fee of $115 is payable for all cats and kittens.
